At the June 2006 Great River Stockdog Club's trial, Pam and Chica got their first A course sheep Advanced leg and they also earned their advanced A duck title. |

At that same national, Flirt took High In Trial on the started course for her first leg toward her title. Tril is Jet and Flirt's young daughter that we have just started to train. Miki Cook and Old English Sheepdog GwennewiereGwennie got her name because one of Miki’s birds, which is entirely too good at learning new words. It managed to teach Miki’s earlier dogs to totally ignore their names… Miki and Gwennie earned their PT in June 2004. Miki has added a new OES to her family, a girl by the name of Yvette. Little Yvette has already decided that running after sheep is the most fun anyone could have. We are waiting for her to get a bit older so we can start shaping that chasing into something more useful. |

Chuckie Gatz and Australian Sheepdog StreetChuckie and Street are both new to herding. Chuckie is working hard to catch up to Street, who of course, has his instinct and working ability to guide him around the sheep. They have earned their PT titles in AKC and their goal for the fall of 2005 is to compete in the versatility classes at the ASCA National. That involves a conformation evaluation (Street is a finished breed Champion both in AKC and ASCA), competing in open in obedience and the started sheep class in herding. Well, the fall 2005 date came and went without their participation. We are now aiming for the 2006 nationals. |

Chris Mosley and Pembroke Welsh Corgies Maggie & WinnMaggie is working towards her PT. Maggie is a funny little gal who has to be convinced that working for her "mommy" is not optional. Maggie would much rather work only for herself. She's totally unaware of her small stature and so far she's not met a sheep she couldn't move. Maggie has retired from herding training and is concentrating her efforts in agility. Maggie got her PT at the Corgi nationals in the fall of 2005. Winn got his HT at that same national. Winn has also earned his PT - in June of 2006. Now - on to more advanced work! |

Paul Schumach and GSD GretchenPaul and Gretchen have their PT title and one leg towards the HSAs. Gretchen has decided that if you're at a trial, Paul has NO authority! We are working hard to address this misunderstanding of Gretchen's, and hope to see Paul and his girl back in the trials arena soon. Gretchen and Paul finished their started A sheep title in June 2007. Gretchen seems to have figured out that she must listed to Paul, even at trials... |

Susan Emerson and BC Cue Susane handles Cue. He earned two legs, with one HIT, towards his AKC started A sheep title in June 2006. Cue earned his third (and fourth) legs and the title in September 2006, also with placements. Cue also went to the BCSA (AKC parent club) national in October of 2007. There he placed second in both his runs for some "insurance" legs. Cue is now retired and we've started working Susan's young bitch Bett. |
