There are several different venues where you can compete with your dog in herding:

For the Border Collies, there are also the "traditional" trials, typically sanctioned by the USBCHA (United States Border Collie Handlers Association) and put on by local clubs or individuals. These trials are open to other breeds besides BCs - as long as they can do the work.
